OUR HISTORY

OUR ULTIMATE GOAL IS TO ASSURE THAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE GIVEN THE HIGHEST QUALITY LONG RANGE SHOOTING SYSTEM IN THE FIELD TODAY.

1975

We were buying guns off the shelf at the local gun shops and loading all of our own ammo by hand, always pushing the limits of shooting longer ranges.

1983

We saved up and bought a 300 Weatherby.  Every chance we had we were out shooting stumps at unknown distances because range finders had yet come to market.  We would count off the distances in steps.  That rifle season, we shot a deer at 400 yards and no one we told would believe us.

1990

We started to experiment with mil dot scopes and continued to push the limits of long range.

2002

We made the investment and purchased a semi-custom Lazzeroni Warbird and topped it with a mil dot scope. That winter, we were gaining confidence and attempted our first 700 yard shot.  You would have thought we won the lottery when we saw the juice jug explode.  In our minds, we had just changed the world!

2003

We started making our own turrets by wrapping tape around them and writing in the yardages (100, 125, 150, etc.).  They weren’t very accurate at first, but we got better and better.

2004

We made the next investment and ordered our first fully custom rifle (.30-378). We learned of a company that was laser burning turrets using data from a ballistic calculator.  We collected data on this new custom rifle and ordered our first laser etched turret.

2005

Word spread in the community of the success we were having with these rifle builds and the accuracy we were obtaining.  Before long, friends and family started having us build their own systems. Eventually, we applied for our Federal Firearms License (FFL) and became busy building these systems in our basements.

2009

Red Rock Precision was born and our first custom long range system was created (P2PX Extreme Range Magnum).
